Listen in on the Morning Joe conversation between veteran columnist Mike Barnicle and The Atlantic national correspondent Graeme Wood about Wood’s recent time spent with national security adviser John Bolton. “We are approaching 20 years at war in Afghanistan—soon to be like 7,000 days at war in one country. Did this come up in the course of your conversation? And if not, do you have any sense of Bolton's feeling about our role in Afghanistan?” asks Barnicle. Listen to Wood’s response here.

Damn ..... you're good. Suggestion: bring up Afghanistan on some kind of regular basis, e.g.: annually, every $25 million spent current with cumulative update, funds paid to subcontractors ... every $10 million, maybe even a few deaths. Just something to keep track with the possible addition of a grand 8 minute show every 5 years as an update. Freddo
