Mike Barnicle asks Senator John Thune about the nuclear deal between the U.S. and Iran

“If the deal [is not approved], is it not the case that the sanctions would be weakened immediately for Iran thus allowing them to gain more money quickly? And wouldn’t Iran be able to start research and development on a nuclear weapon far earlier than if the deal progresses?,” asks Mike Barnicle of Senator John Thune (R-SD), who remains skeptical about approving the recent nuclear agreement between the U.S. and Iran. Listen to Sen. Thune’s reply on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
